โHi everyone! My name is Theresa Murphy. Iโm a junior on the Pre-Physician Assistant track, majoring in Health and Exercise Science, with minors in Health Policy Administration and Bioethics, Humanities and Medicine.
This past fall semester, I studied abroad in San Josรฉ, Costa Rica ๐จ๐ท through CEA CAPA. I chose this program for its hands-on learning opportunities, particularly in the field of healthcare and the chance to live in a homestay.
A highlight from one of my core courses (Holistic Health) was the chance to take a field trip and learn about holistic health practices that can be incorporated in conjunction with western medicine.
Costa Rica was a beautiful country with beautiful wildlife, flora and fauna, and incredible beaches!
This semester I will be an abroad ambassador for @ceacapaabroad and would love to chat or answer questions about studying away through an affiliate program!โ #DeacsAbroad

โThis photo is of me and my friends sitting outside of one of our favorite restaurants in Florence. This photo was actually taken by a stranger that happened to be walking by and thought to capture the cute moment for us. We are so glad she did! We got talking and swapped stories of our time in the city. It was moments like these that made leaving the city so hard!โ
