Jaime and Giulia are incredible members of the onsite team with our WFU Barcelona program. Fernando is a rockstar member of the onsite team with our WFU Salamanca programs 🇪🇸 It was Jaime & Giulia’s first, but certainly not last, time visiting Wake! All quickly became Dough Joe’s fans 🍩

To celebrate, our lovely student Global Ambassadors will be hanging out at the downstairs tables in Benson outside the food court from 3 – 5pm with free snacks and swag. It will be the perfect time to chat and ask questions to fellow students who have already studied abroad ✈️
Global Wake Forest hosted the annual WISE conference on campus this week!

Get more out of your study abroad experience by taking a CGS course! 📚
There are 3 CGS courses offered: CGS 150 for before you go abroad, CGS 151 for while you’re abroad, and CGS 153 for after you return! ✈️ They are online, asynchronous, and 1.5 credit hours each. If you’d like to take the course during this first half of the spring semester, deadline to sign up is THIS Thursday, January 15!!

Spring semester abroad is starting up!! 🌏
Here we have Sophie, stellar Wake alumni who is serving as this year’s IPA (International Program Assistant) at the @wfu_casaartom house, together with Dr. Peter Brubaker, this semester’s Resident Professor teaching HES courses at the house! 🇮🇹
Bonus points that Dr. Brubaker is also our incoming Program Director of Casa Artom! Safe travels to all who are about to start their abroad adventures ✈️

“This semester in Washington, D.C. has been incredible. I loved the opportunity to experience the D.C. work scene as an undergraduate student. Our visits around the city to places like the British Embassy and the Pentagon were such cool experiences as well!
